Welcome to the Centre College Net Price Calculator

Centre College is pleased to provide this net price calculator as a guide to assist in early financial planning for college. This calculator will provide a preliminary estimate of federal, state, and institutional aid eligibility. It was created to help families gauge what aid the student may be awarded and to make arrangements to cover the cost of attendance.

10 The calculator will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

Factors to consider when thinking about the value of a Centre education:

  • Centre is a top-50 national liberal arts college that attracts bright, highly motivated students from 46 states across the country and around the world.
  • Centre ranks first among all schools for study abroad participation rate.
  • The Centre Commitment. All students are guaranteed 1) study abroad, 2) an internship or research opportunity, and 3) graduation in four years, or Centre will provide up to a year of additional study tuition-free (as long as academic and social expectations have been met).
  • Our alumni are staunch supporters of Centre and they are often cited as happiest in the nation and most loyal.

To help you complete this process, the items listed below will be helpful.

  • Most recent completed federal taxes with earnings statements (w-2s)
  • Asset statements (Bank Statements, Investment Accounts - stocks, bonds, 529 plans, Coverdell Education Plans)
  • Records of untaxed income (child support, 401(k) contributions or tax deferred retirement plans)
  • Student Merit Information
    • GPA*
    • Standardized test scores if available (SAT/ACT)

* Upon receiving the student's high school transcript, Centre will recalculate the student's GPA (grade point average) based on a 4.0 scale using only core academic course.

Future costs and financial aid estimates are subject to change. Results of the calculator are not guaranteed. Special circumstances would be reviewed by Centre's Student Financial Planning Office upon receipt of proper documentation after filing the official FAFSA. The accuracy of your estimated annual award is based on the information you provide. It is intended for U.S. citizens or permanent residents who will be entering freshmen in the fall. The estimated awards are based on the assumption that the student will complete the Centre Aid Form in addition to the FAFSA.
